What's a Tweetup?
A tweetup is a real world social gathering for people who know each other through the online Twitter service. This is an opportunity for Twitter users to meet in person, network, and have fun.
What's planned?
Just come and socialize, network, eat our free refreshments, or whatever. In the spirit of micro-blogging, 5 minute micro-presentations will be provided every 15 minutes on the topics of accessibility and social networking.
Speakers
- @mollydotcom - Opera
- @dennisl - Accessible Twitter
- @musingvirtual - GimpGirl
- @mattmay - Adobe
- @stevefaulkner - The Paciello Group
- @wendyabc - UW/DO-IT
- @google - Jonas Klink - Google
R.S.V.P.
To RSVP, use the Twitter hashtag #csun10 - just post a tweet indicating that you are coming and put "#csun10" somewhere in the message. Or, just follow this link and then click "update". If you don't feel like tweeting about it, send a direct message to @jared_w_smith or e-mail Jared.
The #csun10 hashtag will be used for all things relating to the conference and this tweetup, and makes it easier for people to search for conference-related tweets. They'll also appear on this site.
Not a Twitter user?
You should be. It's easy and fun. If you're not yet ready to join Twitter, but would like to attend the Tweetup and see what it's all about, just let us know.
How Can You Become a Sponsor?
We are asking sponsorship organizations for $500 each to help cover refreshments, captioning and live webcast costs. Sponsors will receive recognition on this site, via event tweets, during the opening/closing of the event, and in the CSUN conference program and signage. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact Mike Paciello at +1 603.566.7713 or mpaciello@paciellogroup.com
