MADISON, Wisconsin – As public health officials continue to roll out new restrictions on the size of gatherings, restaurant capacity and more, you may be wondering if you should cancel your next doctor’s appointment . Here are some tips on this issue, according to experts.
UW Health is evaluating all patient care appointments and procedures to determine which ones should be rescheduled, according to an email to News 3 Now on Monday.
“Any decisions made regarding changes or postponements of appointments or procedures will be communicated directly to our patients,” the email said.
News 3 Now contacted Meriter Hospital and SSM Health / St. Mary is also on whether to postpone.
When it comes to dentist appointments, Madison and Dane County public health officials recommend postponing routine cleanings and other non-essential services to help limit contact with others.
