Norton Healthcare and Churchill Downs today announced that Norton Healthcare will be the official medical supplier to the world famous race track.
As part of the agreement, Norton Sports Health will provide medical support to the jockeys. Norton Healthcare will hire two physicians trained in sports medicine to be on site at spring and fall competitions, including the Kentucky Derby. Norton Healthcare will also equip the Churchill Downs jockey first aid area with medical equipment for triage and assessment of possible injuries.
